Switch No.10, Time Pencil. Widely used by SOE and special forces this delay action fuze was used in conjunction with a detonator or Bickford cord to set off explosives. This example has a yellow safety strip indicating an approx. 12hr delay. The pencil was initiated by crushing the copper tube that shrouds a glass ampuole containing corrosive liquid. Cotton drill Kriegsmarine shirt and trousers to be worn by enlisted men during the summer months. Both items bear matching name tapes and stitched identification details of a seaman ' Lau ' with the shirt having stamped issue marks showing issue from the Kiel depot in 1939. Japanese One Thousand Stitch belt.
Cotton Japanese Senninbari or one thousand stitch belt. The belt was worn around the waist under the shirt or uniform as a good luck charm. The symbolic 1000 stitches are hand-stitched with some being circled in ink. The belt is lined with wool and bears clear evidence of having been worn. WW2 British General Service Trade Piece by the well known Swiss maker Cyma . Nickelled case with snap bezel and back marked ' G.S.T.P. M69180 ' with a broad arrow .15 jewel Swiss made movement signed Cyma which appears to keep good time. Good clean movement, with wear to case through use. read more

Fine bullion wire wing with highlighted, cotton wreath surrounding a gilt bullion star on blue silk backing. Reverse backed with black, glazed card.
