WW2 Italian Regio Esercito Vehicle Disc.

From April 1936 onwards armored and heavy vehicles (lorries, trucks, tanks etc.) of the Regio Esercito (Royal Army) were equipped with a decorative shield made out of bronze or aluminum. The decorative shield was applied with two screws at the frontal armor, positioned at the left side. The majority of the military personnel removed the decorative shield after the downfall of Benito Mussolini on the 25th of July 1943. The decorative shield however remained in official use until August of 1943. Good condition.
