WW1 conversion of the Italian 1870 bayonet for the Vetterli-Vitali rifle. A shortage of weaponry in Italy during WW1 brought about this conversion for fitting to a rechambered 6.5mm Vetterli rifle. Handsome looking nickel cased pocket watch by H.White & Co.Ltd., of Cheapside. 7 Jewel English movement contained in a numbered nickel case inscribed with a broad arrow and the number ' 170290 '. GWO but could do with a clean looking at the movement. Case in good condition, worn to the reverse and a hairline crack to the face. read more

A group of 30 b/w photographs taken by a member of B Squadron 5 RTR whilst in Germany 1947-48 based at Hamm and Senelager.
