THIRD REICH 'DEUTCHE RED CROSS' ARMABAND & PAMPHLET.
This is a mint conditioned Red Cross armband in white cotton with the Red Cross emblem and black writing embroidered into the fabric. Armband looks to have never been worn. These were worn by all military nurses etc. Many pictures of them being worn on the left sleeve. It came with a period pamphlet for the supply of medical items to the Red Cross from a period company. WW1 Border Regt. Identity Disc - Casualty.
Aluminium WW1 identity disc named to ' 7838 H.Watling BOR.R. ' Herbert Watling, who was married and lived in Edmonton was killed with ' C ' Company of the 2nd Battalion Border Regt on their attack on German trenches near Festubert where casualties were heavy with over 100 killed, 240 wounded, and 35 missing. WW2 British 2" Mortar Illuminating Round.
1943 dated, British 2" Mortar Illuminating round. Fitted with a 1940 dated tail fin and retaining 80% of it's original lacquer with residual markings visible indicating a 1943 filling date. Would have originally held a parachute borne flare. Manufacturer's markings to body and tail and cap. Good example, now empty partially strippable.

WW2 chromed nickel cased stop watch for use by the Artillery. Engraved ' T.P. 1/10 sec. ' with a broad arrow and ' 162 ' inspection mark to the reverse of the hinged case with the addition of various issue numbers and serials. Swiss, jewelled movement, clean and runs well with some wear to case. read more

Standard issue British Army jack knife with issue lanyard. Clearly manufacturer marked ' ABL ' and coded ' C.C.0530 ' to can opener blade. Blade clean and bright, probably unissued. read more
