A MOST INTERESTING RAD COMMEMORATIVE DESK SET.
Cast in steel and measures approximately 12" x 9". It depicts a mound of earth with a RAD boot to one side, on the other is a removable RAD shovel in nickel positioned in a slot in the base. The steel is cat to look like somewhere where the RAD have been digging, and the boot is also cast in steel and removable. Around the lower edge are the detail of the RAD unit. Silvered Polish 2nd Corps badge with screw post fitting to reverse.. Worn above the left pocket midway between the breast and collar and usually numbered to the reverse, in this case 101285 with the accompanying Legitymacja documentation.
