A GREAT WW1 GERMAN SOUVENIR 'TRINKET BOX' 1916.
Made of a thick glass base, with a metal hinged lid. This little box or case is approximately 8"x6" and 4" high. The beautifully crafted lid is in steel with a 'wavy' effect to the surface background. There is a flower embossed into each corner. There were lots of souvenirs from this Olympic event, but I have personally not had one of these before. A mint condition, unused 12" square white lined handkerchief from the 1936 Olympics held in BERLIN.
