One piece aluminium Wehrmacht buckle with unit marked leather tab. Faintly manufacturer marked tab with unit markings ' 3./N.24 ' probably signals unit. Buckle not maker marked and in good, used condition with light wear to high points with remains of green finish to reverse. read more

14/15 Star, War and Victory trio to 17847 Pte.Percy Walter Perry Royal Scots Fusiliers . Perry was killed on 25.09.15 in action with the 1st Battalion probably in the tale end of the action at Bellewaarde and has no known grave being commemorated on the Menin Gate. He originally came from Burton-on-Trent. Medals with original ribbons in good, clean condition, toned overall. read more

Scarce printed shoulder title for No 12 Commando. In heavily used condition with clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform. No. 12 Commando was a battalion-sized unit formed in 1940 in Northern Ireland, they carried out a number of small-scale raids in Norway and France between 1941 and 1943 before being disbanded and its personnel dispersed to other commando units. Scarce.

Produced in 1941, this 32 page booklet shows cap badges and insignia of most of the British regular forces in WW2. Most usefully the Field Service caps of most of the units are also identified along with arm of service strips and a small section on Allied forces. Colour illustrations throughout. 85 Anti-Tank Regt Casualty Medal Group.
Medal grouping to 1516921 Gnr.Albert Edward Wignall 85 Anti-Tank Regt. RA. Gnr. Wignall was captured with the rest of the unit in Malaya in February 1942. He died as a POW in July of that year age 23 and is buried in Kranji War Cemetry.
