Early, 1935 dated OR's/NCO's visor cap piped in corn flower blue for use by medical personnel. Manufactured to the 1934 modified standards and is an interim shape between a Tellerform and a saucer shape with a field grey cloth cap band. Matching quality ,early, silvered or neu silber cockade and eagle with the eagle becoming patinated. Standard patent leather chin strap with rounded edged rectangular buckles. The main body of the interior is lined in tan glazed cotton with the central celluloid lozenge being virtually complete with a central split and the size 59 stamped underneath. Intact leather sweat band with indistinct manufacturer's details and date to reverse. Good, overall, untouched condition with some minor moth nips to top ( largest 1.5mm ) and three to body with only one visible without lifting crown.
