Pair of slip-on shoulder straps for volunteer in the Reichsarbeitdienst with the rank of Obervormann. Conforming to the post 1942 regulations, the woolen straps have twisted silver braid edging with two silver and brown loops to the base of the strap. Early, embroidered , plum and white on blue shoulder title for No.4 Commando. This particular pattern replaced the ' Special IV Service ' title in late 1941/ early 1942 before it too was superseded by the all red pattern. Fantastic and rare tinny for commemoration of the opening 1000 km of the Third Reich Autobahn in 1936. Pressed tin with pin-back. Beautiful detail of a winged tyre surmounted by the 1000km and an eagle and swastika. Great little tinny, and I have not seen one of these for ages. read more
