Japanese Good Luck Flag
Japanese yosegaki hinomaru or good luck flag. Approx 70 x 100cms printed on silk with two leather reinforced corners and cotton ties. This example is covered in characters with a prominent name or exhortation running across the top of the flag. Both leather corner reinforcements and ties are intact with some contemporary staining and fold marks. Good large example. read more

WW1 grouping to 20053 SgtJ.Thomson KOSB comprising silver plated cigarette case with inscription 'Presented to Sgt.J.Thomson by the recruits of G Coy.3rd Battn KOSB on the completion of their training December 1916', 2 x dogtags , 2 x KOSB shoulder titles, KOSB cap badge and medal ribbons. Embroidered cotton on wool Luftwaffe arm badge worn by flying personnel who were not entitled to wear the other metal qualification badges. Introduced in 1936 and worn on the left forearm of the Luftwaffe uniform. In good, worn condition with clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform. One small area of moth grazing, no holes. read more

A good die stamped brass example of an other rank's post 1901 helmet plate to the South Wales Borderers. Universal crowned star pattern with a SWB centre. RAF battledress escape button compass.
A ’plastic’ battledress escape and evasion button compass. Compass appears as an innocuous button. Black plastic button with magnetised points, marked to its reverse with dots. It was used, suspended from cotton thread and then swung freely. Excellent working order. This was intended for use with the RAF battledress. Uncommon. read more
