PRUSSIAN POLICE THIRD REICH OFFICERS BUCKLE.

This brass buckle was worn by the Prussian Police Offers in the early part of the Third Reich era. Prussian eagle with lightning in it's talons, but with swastika cast into the eagles breast. This was the first eagle use by the Prussian Police in 1934, it was also used in smaller form on the dress bayonets. Was changed soon after to the normal Third Reich police symbol of an eagle surrounded by a wreath. Buckle in very good condition, no maker mark apparent. Slider/keeper part missing. Nice buckle.
