Introduced from 1942 the 3rd Pattern F.S. knife was the zenith of FS knives formulating the design and method of production that is still used today.

WW II printed pair of 6th Guards Tank Brigade formation signs. Showing the golden sword on a white shield backed by a diagonal band of the Household Brigade colours. Originally part of the Guards Armoured Division the "6th." became an Independent Tank Brigade with 21st.Army Group in North-West Europe. Uncut pair, as issued with owner's initials to reverse.

A good, used example of the 3rd Pattern F.S. Knife with Indian acceptance marks. Standard 3rd Patt handle with ' 2 ' mold number to the top, blackened finish now largely absent with some bruising and knocks. Interesting Memorial Plaque to a casualty on board HMS Broke and the 2nd Battle of the Dover Strait 1917. J/24972 Able Seaman Christopher Frank Samways was a member of the crew of the Faulkner class destroyer HMS Broke. Royal Naval issue Admiralty Pattern Spit Chronograph.15 Jewell Swiss movement, unsigned but probably by Lemania, contained in a nickel case with broad arrow and issue number to reverse. These stop watches provided dual timing facilities by the use of the start/stop button to one side of the case and also the winder. Good, working order. read more
