WEHRMACHT ALLOY PARADE BUCKLE.
A really nice all alloy Wehrmacht lightweight parade buckle. A 2 piece buckle made of pressed aluminium. Would not be used in combat as too flimsy, but designed for parade purposes only. no maker marks as far as I can see. Excellent condition showing virtually no wear. Very small dent in the front beside the closed wing eagle. Superb detail. read more

1914/15 trio to Pvt. HG CHAMBERS 17393 .. 14/15 Star, War and Victory medals with their original ribbons. Was purchased with a family grouping of WW2 items, and his son went onto be a Royal Marine commando in WW2. Good overall condition, not been cleaned. Not mounted, all loose. read more

WW1 French Besozzi Grenade.
Originally the cast iron Besozzi was made in Italy but from 1915 on the French started their own production. It was made in 2 halves with filling opening on the base and the safety fuze on top.
The 3-4 seconds fuze had a match compound and misfired often due to humidity. Whilst quickly superseded it was, in many ways the precursor of the fragmentation grenades adopted by the Allies. In ... read more

Clay tobacco pipe with a bowl featuring the face of General Gordon, Major-General Charles George Gordon CB (28 January 1833 – 26 January 1885), also known as Chinese Gordon, Gordon Pasha, and Gordon of Khartoum. Appears to have been unsmoked although slightly grubby from handling but undamaged apart from a small chip to the underside of the stem. read more
