Three piece construction with a deeply patinated silver frame, block hinge, flat wire catch with a ' coke bottle ' shaped , flat pin. Original 50g packs of WW2 German pipe tobacco by the manufacturer ' Arnold Boninger '. Originally found in a large carton packed in 1944 for the use of the Wehrmacht these two packs show the mark indicating that tax has been paid sealed with an embossed eagle and swastika. A two-bladed survival knife with 5" Cutting, 5" Saw blades. Manufactured by The Colonial Cutlery Company, Prov, Rhode Island with details stamped to the knife blade. Measuring approx. 15cm closed and 27cm with the knife blade extended. Black plastic grips and blued metal finish. These were placed in pocket No. 3. of the C-1 Emergency sustenance / survival vest as used by USAAF aircrew. read more
