EARLY 1st PATTN HITLER YOUTH MEMBERS PIN.

This was a round enamel pin about 23mm in diameter and was introduced in 1933 before the triangular membership pin.
It featured a rising sun with swastika in the centre and the motto Hj Deutche Arbeiter (working youth) around the outer edge. It was initially worn on the early soft HJ visor cap and is pictures on page 110 in JR Angolia HJ book vol 1.A rare , early badge in great condition...  read more

Rescued by my good contact in Taunton for a shop nearby, this is a classic WW1 German 'Butcher' bayonet and is made by JA Henkels Zwillingwerk Solingen. HAs the 'twins' logo.
