An example of the uncommon S1914 ( Gottscho ) pattern bayonet. Often described as machine gunners' bayonets there is no evidence to support this. Designed by Dr.Lucian Gottscho as infantry bayonets for the Bavarian and Wurttemberg armies there is evidence of a small production run of a maximum of 27,000 units including saw back versions making this a scarce bayonet.

This preliminary report, No.10, features the Pz.Kw.I ( Model B ) and was undertaken on a captured example from North Africa. 10pgs featuring photographs, diagrams and a review of all aspects of the vehicle from armour to vulnerable points. A very good, untouched example of the Katana NCO's sword as carried by Non commissioned officers in the Imperial Japanese army.The NCO swords were introduced on September 16, 1935.The hilts are made of cast aluminium instead of the wood and cloth of the Officers types. Pin with catch perfect. Graz is in Austria. This maker is still in business today, and is an unusual/uncommon maker to find. read more
