No.75,A.T.Mk.I Hawkins Grenade. Introduced in 1942 and designed primarily as an anti-tank mine this particular example would appear to have been manufactured in 1943. Containing either Ammonal or Nobels 704 the grenade was intiated by pressure onto the striker plate breaking the capsules of the No.27 igniter and detonating the explosive.
