1888 Mark II Lee Metford Bayonet.

Victorian, Lee Metford, 1888 Mark II bayonet manufactured for the British .303 calibre Enfield, Lee Metford rifle. Clearly marked with Victorian crown and ' 3 and 00 ' indicating manufacture in March 1900 with a broad arrow and ' EFD ' indicating Enfield with various inspection marks to blade and grip. Also marked ' A88 ' to one grip. The bayonet is contained in a standard 1888 MK I pattern scabbard with inspection marks to leather and steel parts. Good, clean condition.
