An untouched, sleepy British Mk1 Brodie helmet of pre May 1917 manufacture indicated by the lack of rubber ring to liner .
A good proportion of ithe original rough sawdust mixed khaki paint remains to inside & out with chinstrap in good condition with Brodie stamp to underside of oilcloth liner.

A characterful R.A.F. Aircrew Blouse for a pilot with the rank of Pilot Officer. Size 7 ' Blouses Blue Grey Aircrew ', although not dated it bears the inspection marks indicating manufacture in 1942. P/O rank lace machine stitched to the epaulettes with a pair of deeply padded pilots' wings to the left breast. WW1 British No.16 Hand Grenade.
WW1 British No.16 Hand Grenade - the oval pattern. Using a similar friction type fuze as the No.15 Grenade, the No.16 was designed as fragmentation hand grenade with a cast iron body segmented internally. This example dated 1915 to body with the manufacturer's initials ' L D ' and similarly dated to brass igniter cap. Good, used condition with residual original black finish.
