WW2 Handguard for the MP43 or Stg44. Deep formed, ' U ' shaped sheet metal guard which snapped in place over the gas cylinder of either weapon. THIRD REICH EK1 IN ORIGINAL CASE OF ISSUE.
Always nice to get a nice ‘used’ Iron Cross and this 1st Class example is in very good condition, but you can see it’s been worn and used. Cross has all original black paint but with some surface ‘bumps and thumps’ from wear and use. Reverse has the original pin and hook. A fine pinback sweetheart of gold and enamel for the Royal Warwickshire Regiment. Featuring an antelope within a garter surmounting ' VI ' to indicate the 6th Regiment of Foot later the Royal Warwickshire Regiment.
