This is the narrow brown leather strap worn across the body on many political uniforms. Attached to 'D' rings on the belt, this runs from the rear, over the shoulder and back onto the belt. Complete with both gilded pebbled finish brass snap clips which are both identical and marked with RZM M1.

A GREAT WW1 GERMAN SOUVENIR 'TRINKET BOX' 1916.
Made of a thick glass base, with a metal hinged lid. This little box or case is approximately 8"x6" and 4" high. The beautifully crafted lid is in steel with a 'wavy' effect to the surface background. There is a flower embossed into each corner. There were lots of souvenirs from this Olympic event, but I have personally not had one of these before.
