Knife manufacturer marked and coded 22c/1278106 with the scabbard marked 22c/2202. Some evidence of special forces usage often carried by SAS personnel. Zinc construction marked ' S.H.u.Co.41 ' to the reverse in raised letters under the hinge, the mark of Sohni, Heubach and Co.,Idar Oberstein. WW2 Luftwaffe O/R's and NCO's visor cap piped in yellow for flight branch. Size marked 56 and dated 1937 with now indistinct maker's trademark present to the interior in the diamond left by the missing celluloid protector. German WW1 Kugelhandgranate 1915Na.
A good example of a German Kugelhandgranate 1915Na. The Mdl.1915Na was a simplification of the earlier Model 1913 to better suit mass production. This particular example fitted with a zinc alloy Mdl.1915 friction igniter which produced an 8 second delay. In good condition with a manufacturer's mark to the base, replacement wire to fuze.
