Victorian Officer's Valise Bag - Connaught Rangers.
Sturdy linen valise bag with bone button closures marked to an officer of the 88th Regt. the Connaught Rangers. Clearly marked in paint to an ' H.Ernst. Esqr. 88th Regt. '. Provisional research indicates a Henry Ernst who served as a Lieutenant in the 88th in 1851 and saw service in Canada. Excellent, clean condition. read more

A pair of sleeve diamonds split equally in Lincoln Green and Hunting Scarlett ( Maroon ) for wear by a member of the Sherwood Foresters. These examples came from an officer who served with the 7th Armoured Division during WW2. Good, used condition with clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform. read more

Die-stamped alloy plaque for the Der Deutsche Automobil-Club e.V., the Nazi Automobile club that was set up as an umbrella organisation in the shadow of the NSKK. This coloured plaque was clearly meant to be part of a larger plaque or shield as evidenced by the mounting holes to both sides. Good, slightly grubby condition. read more
