Zinc construction marked ' S.H.u.Co.41 ' to the reverse in raised letters under the hinge, the mark of Sohni, Heubach and Co.,Idar Oberstein. A good example of a German Kugelhandgranate 1915Na. The Mdl.1915Na was a simplification of the earlier Model 1913 to better suit mass production. This particular example fitted with a zinc alloy Mdl.1915 friction igniter which produced an 8 second delay. In good condition with a manufacturer's mark to the base, replacement wire to fuze.
