Later war War Merit Cross 1st class without Swords in die-cast zinc by Deumer of Ludenscheid. Coke bottle pin to reverse with horizontal block hinge and wire ' C ' catch and a bordered number ' 3 ' stamped to the reverse. As is common with these later pieces the silvered finish has deteriorated leaving a dull grey finish in some areas and bright in others. read more
