As the constraints of the war took hold, economies of scale became the norm. Insignia on the later produced battledress tunic were cut to a minimum. A nice single patch is red for artillery with silver bullion wreath and 3 silver 'seagulls'. In very good condition. Has been stuck to a board at some time so residue on the reverse. An idea display item.  read more

LUFTWAFFE TECHNICAL SPECIALIST SLEEVE BADGE WITH GILT WIRE BORDER.

A standard Luftwaffe technicians sleeve badge, but much better quality and with tightly stitched gilt wire around the edge. Luftwaffe grey wool background with white detail to the wreath etc. Gold wire border is awarded for length of service or another award. Makes it a much rarer ‘common’ badge.  read more

SET OF ORIGINAL WW2 MEDALS IN FAMILY TIN BOX.

I have pictured the box and contents exactly how I received it. An old tin money box that contained 6 medals, 3 ribbon bars, the family address and a pressed 4 leaf clover! I have just left them as I found them. 2 Defence medals, 2 39/45 War medals, a France and Germany star and an Africa Star. Label is from an address in Huntingdonshire.  read more

Standard MkII helmet marked to one side with a red ' Norfolk Wherry ' the sign of the 76th Infantry Division.
