Original WWI Lewis Gun drum magazine. Pan magazine holding 47 rounds in a radial fan which was mechanically indexed and driven by a cam on top of the bolt which operated a pawl mechanism via a lever. Excellent, clean condition marked for MkVI and MkVII .303 with various inspection marks and handpainted a khaki/sand with white quartering. read more
WW1 German wound badge.
Good example of an Imperial German wound badge awarded for one or two wounds. This example is in good used condition with a stout pin fitting to the reverse. Most finish intact with some wear to high points and minor corrosion to reverse. read more

Wilkinson Sword stamp to ricasso with black painted cross guard. Complete with unmarked leather scabbard. light marking to scabbard and bolt faces but no other sign of use or sharpening

FIRE DEPT VOLUNTEER ARMBAND- WW2 GERMAN.
A little difficult to identify exactly but from the shape of the helmet etc., it is most likely of German origin. A very nice and well made armband in dark blue wool. Further lined inside. Oval cloth Fire Dept badge sewn to middle. Fire helmet with crossed axes. Red band sewn around the middle. No damage, no moth. read more

A single eppaulettette for a NCO in the Wehrmacht with the rank of Unteroffizier or Corporal. Piped in white do for Infantry. Faded green wool with faded bullion rank edging. A little wear around where the button would have rubbed. read more

A PAIR OF DLV COLLAR PATCH INSIGNIA.
Not quite sure why these would have been removed from the collar patches, but they have, so here are a matched pair of the winged propeller insignia, that went on the blue collar patches for the DLV. LATE WAR, DIRECTLY APPLIED WEHRMACHT TROPICAL COLLAR PATCHES.
As the constraints of the war took hold, economies of scale became the norm. Insignia on the later produced battledress tunic were cut to a minimum. Breast eagles were simpler and cheaply produced and collar patches no longer had the backing, but were sewn directly onto the collars. This is a set of these.
