German WW2 Sea Mine horn.
WW2 German sea mine horn which would have contained a detonator for exploding the main charge of the mine. Made from a soft lead based alloy the horn was designed to crush on contact intiating the detonator within. Excellent condition complete with leather sealing washer, indistinct markings to one side.

A clean and pleasing example of a WW2 Infantrie Sturmabzeichen or Infantry Assault badge. Slightly convex, stamped with a soldered hinge and clasp with a steel pin. This example has a large percentage of the original silver wash remaining with minor rubbing to highlights. Excellent. read more
