WW2 Croatian Air Legion Badge.

Embroidered on grey Luftwaffe backing, Croatian Air Legion badge. The badge consists of a winged Croatian checkerboard shield surmounted by the Ustase emblem. Worn on the right arm/breast of the standard Luftwaffe uniform to distinguish members of the Air Legion. 1945 Jungle Green G.S.Beret - unissued.

An unissued, 1945 dated jungle green G.S.Beret as issued to British and Commonwealth forces in the Far East. Size 6 7/8 with date, size and manufacturer's details stamped to the interior aertex lining, these marks indicate Indian manufacture. Size is repeated in pencil to the crown. A good, used example of a wartime General Service beret worn by a member of the Royal Horse Artillery. Cast, lugged o/r RHA cap badge by Firmin . Clear signs of wear with no visible manufacturer's marks but inspection marks indicates manufacture in 1945. Two slight snags to crown otherwise undamaged. Approx. size 6 3/4.  read more
