Reverse of the lanyard is faced with a material shield with the shield area covered in feld grau material. 1944 bomb plot of Dortmund produced by the Allied Central Interpretation Unit. Based at RAF Medmenham, the ACIU used AFPU photographs to build an up to date assessment of bomb damage prior to 15/10/1944 and further raids up to 23/12/1944.
