ORIGINAL WW2 U-BOAT BADGE BY f.o.

A very good example of a U-boat pin back award badge. Was once gilded but all this has worn off over the years, just leaving the grey/silver metal base. There are tiny remains of the gilding in crevices, but 99% has gone. Has cast solid swastika and reverse has horizontal pin and hook.
Maker marked ‘f.o.’ for Friedrich Orth. Priced to sell as an ORIGINAL badge.  read more

WW2 RAC Officer's insignia.

A set of WW2 insignia for a Captain in the Royal Armoured Corps. A pair of embroidered cotton on wool RAC shoulder titles accompanied by a set of 6 embroidered and padded rank pips on yellow denoting armoured troops. All in good used condition with clear evidence of having been removed from a uniform.  read more

An uncommon WWI period fund raising paper badge in the form of a large chicken's egg tied in a patriotic red, white and blue bow and portraying a large Red Cross, ' Patron H.M. Queen Alexandra ' title above and ' National Egg Collection 154, Fleet St, London ' below. Good, used condition, retaining original single pin fitting, with some minor nibbles to edge.  read more
