A difficult buckle to find as these were the ‘junior’ part of the Hitler Youth. A good example of the belt buckle worn by them is nickel plated brass. Has a single DJ rune in the centre. A rarer variation of the STALHELM organisation belt buckle in green painted steel. Stahlhelm meaning ‘steel helmet’ was a WW1 soldiers veterans association. Pressed steel with a featured large eagle clutching a WW1 steel helmet in its talons.
