WW1 Medal Grouping to 2/Lt.Herbert,James Smith Royal Fusiliers. Grouping consists of a WW1 War and Victory pair with a framed contemporary photograph of Smith in uniform. Accompanied by a copy of a newspaper report, MiC, and medal rolls and research. Smith served with the 26th ( Service ) Battalion Royal Fusiliers which was largely recruited from the banking community where he was an employee of the Northamptonshire Union Bank. Promoted from the ranks Smith went on to become a photographer after the War. Good, clean condition.
