An original Eisenhower leaflet which was distributed to all Allied airmen, sailors, soldiers and airborne units on the evening before D-Day. Intended as an exhortation to victory before the invasion these leaflets were kept as souvenirs, as with this example. Clear signs of folding with light marking, particularly to the reverse but otherwise excellent, used condition. read more

Dog Tag to 0-554389 1st Lt.Wendel J.A.Nelson of the 359th FS, 356th Fighter Group. Having taken off from Martlesham Heath on 13/01/1945, Nelson was killed when his P-51D Mustang dived into the ground from altitude.
