German Projectile Desk Ornament.

Desk ornament featuring two fired projectiles mounted on a polished bakelite type base. One projectile is a 37mm AP/HE/T dated 1936, the other a 20mm HE/T with either a dummy or practice aluminium fuze. Unsure of its origin could either be German or an Allied souvenir. Two interesting 1944 German propaganda leaflets. Coded AI-100-8-44 entitled ' What about Calling up Sam Levy ' a crude anti-semitic attempt to suggest that wives and girlfriends were busy seeing Jewish ' war dodgers ' in their absence. WW2 French Dogtag & POW ID Tag.

WW2 French wrist type, steel dogtag for a Gabriel Desruet with an attached POW ID tag for Stalag 1B. The POW tag is stamped with the prefix ' F ' indicating the nationality of the prisoner. Stalag 1B was a large multi-national POW camp located 2 kilometres west of Hohenstein, East Prussia now Poland.  read more

A good example of the British No. 80 Mark VII fuze. The No. 80 was a time & percussion fuze licensed from the German company Krupp and was Britain's main WWI shrapnel fuze.
