THIRD REICH ALLOY WHERMACHT BELT BUCKLE AND LEATHER KEEPER.
I’m not quite sure where this buckle has been, but it’s been exposed to damp at some time, perhaps it’s possibly ground dug. However, the pebbled alloy buckle itself is in remarkable condition. The No.34 Hand Grenade was developed to counter the introduction of the German Model 1917 Eierhandgranate and ran to five marques, this being a MkIII. WW2 British No.4 Mk.I bayonet.
Original British No.4 Mk1 cruciform bayonet introduced in November 1939 for the No.4 Rifle. Clearly stamped with Royal cypher, designation and SM for Singer Manufacturing.. Complete with correct No.4 Mk1 scabbard. Issue number stamped to body along with various inspection stamps to release catch and body. Light marking to blade with minor denting to scabbard.

1943 British Gas Detector Brassard.
A scarce example of the British gas detector brassard. Manufacturer marked and dated 1943 to the reverse, this is the light buff version which has a coated layer which reacts to the presence of mustard gas. This example was found folded in with the gas goggles pack in a respirator case with the mark to brassard caused by the gas goggle forehead pad, otherwise excellent condition. read more

Probably WW1 period ' Aeronautical Inspection Directorate 'lapel badge. Red enamel gilt title circlet surmounted by a Crowned wing 'On H.M. Service' with 'A.I.D' to centre on black enamel ground, the reverse impressed with official issue number ' 8364 '.
