Poona Horse stickpin sweetheart badge.

22mm Indian silver stickpin for the Poona Horse. Originally raised in 1820 as cavalry unit, various amalgamations resulted in their current form in 1921 with battle honours including WW1 and WW2 where they received their first armour in 1945. They have gone on to fight with distinction in the India–Pakistan wars of 1965 and 1971.
