Luftwaffe aircrew soldbuch grouping to a Lt.Karl-Ferdinand Buchmann. Grouping consists of a soldbuch, a wireless operator's licence, period wedding photograph, a post-war identity and a proof of identity for his Czech wife. Buchmann's radio operator licence has been contemporarily altered from that intended for a mechanic. It would appear from the soldbuch entries that Buchmann was a blind flying specialist with radio and radar spending much time in Austria and Africa. He was awarded a KVKII, Italy/Germany Axis Medal, KVKI with swords and AFRIKA armband. Unusually the soldbuch has a great many entries. Licence and soldbuch both heavily used with soldbuch pages loose but complete. Interesting grouping.
