A good quality Cameron Highlander's sporran by "J.G. STEVENSON GLASGOW" with 1939 date.. Good full hair body with leather topped tassles and patent leather top, a little marked. Painted tin for Safety Fuze. Safety fuze was widely used by Special Forces, engineers and saboteurs for setting off explosive charges and burnt at a rate of 20 secs per yard. Tin with original label with a printed 1943 date, good condition with some wear to paint finish. read more

Gilt and enamel lapel badge for Brunner Mond & Co, a chemical company involved in the manufacture of explosives. Their Silvertown factory exploded in Silvertown in West Ham, Essex on Friday, 19 January 1917 at 6.52 pm.
