Unissued example of the M44 breast eagle that was introduced to make savings at the manufacturing stage. Characteristic subdued mouse grey BeVo weave on triangular backing. In good condition with some glue marks to reverse where it was removed from an album. read more

Approx 50mm, hallmarked silver, approx 70gms ( Birmingham 1928/29 ) compact featuring superb enamelling to lid which is surmounted by a highly detailed silver and enamel wing. Introduced from 1942 the 3rd Pattern F.S. knife was the zenith of FS knives formulating the design and method of production that is still used today.
