AN EARLY BAR TO THE IRON CROSS 2nd CLASS (SPANGE)
This is a nice , early version of the bar to the Iron Cross 2nd class. Awarded in the Third Reich period to those already awarded an Iron Cross in WW1, but awarded it again in WW2. An early version with shorter wings and 4 pins to the reverse. Is mounted on an original piece of the slightly thinner 'dress' iron cross ribbon. WW2 IRON CROSS 1st CLASS - SCREWBACK, NEAR MINT.
This is an iron cross in wonderful condition. Has nearly all the silver plated 'frosting' on the surfaces, with no damage and dark patina where the silver has become exposed to the atmosphere. This is a beautiful medal and has been protected by being inside the original issue paper packet! It's complete with the original length of folded EKII ribbon. SUPERB QUALITY SOLID LUFTWAFFE CAP/HAT/KEPI EAGLE.
Whilst most of these eagles are quite thin and stamped out of metal. This is a superb quality Luftwaffe eagle for a vistor cap or kepi or similar. fantastic casting detail it's very well made indeed and is quite thick and heavy. This is an original portrait photo, in it's original frame, of a very well decorated Luftwaffe Oberst, who flew and served in WW1. EXCELLENT CONDITION PANZER ASSAULT BADGE IN BRONZE. RARE MAKER.
A really nice Tank Assault badge or 'Panzerkampf Abzeichen' in bronze. Nearly ALL of the bronze finish remains to the front, around 85-90%, and 100% remains to the reverse. It is made by the very rare maker EWE.
