Made and marked accordingly ' Lorioli Milano ' this Italian designed medal was not considered an official German decoration but it's use was authorised in early 1942. This bronze example is manufacturer marked and the name of the designer Domenico de Marchis is marked to the rim. Good, slightly dusty condition with original tired ribbon.  read more

Fine detailing to eagle which originally had an overall silvered wash which has been largely worn away from all high points, double pins present to reverse. Uncommon.  read more
