An above average quality, dark green, thick wool glengarry for either an NCO or officer of the Highland Light Infantry. White metal, die struck HLI cap badge that would appear to have been on the cap from the inception with fully lined, glazed cotton interior. WW2 pinback EKI, . Steel core with silvered frame and block and barrel hinge and wire catch with ' coke bottle ' pin bearing partial impressed mark of L/13 for Paul Meybauer, Berlin. Brussels Leave Hostels Shoulder title.

Probably locally machine made, shoulder title for the Brussels Leave Hostels of the British Liberation Army. Brussels was liberated in Sept 1944, and a series of hotels and other venues were operated along the lines of NAAFI establishments in an effort to give servicemen a respite from the front. Worn by civilian staff and in excellent unissued condition.  read more

WW2 North Stafford Coloured Field Service Cap.

Black O/R's coloured Field Service cap for a member of the North Stafford Regiment. Bi-metal North Stafford cap badge with brass GS buttons to apron with a brushed cotton headband. To the reverse of the headband the name ' 5053395 A.Ball N.S.R.' and the date ' 8/9/41 ' have been neatly written in ink. Approx. size 6 3/4 and in excellent used condition with some light rubbing to crown.  read more
