White metal, die struck HLI cap badge that would appear to have been on the cap from the inception with fully lined, glazed cotton interior. Brussels was liberated in Sept 1944, and a series of hotels and other venues were operated along the lines of NAAFI establishments in an effort to give servicemen a respite from the front.
