WW1 Negretti & Zambra Trench Periscope.

Unusual expanding trench periscope by the specialist optical manufacturer Negretti & Zambra of London. Grey painted brass body with telescopic action, extending eyepiece and objective lense. This pattern was given the ' Mk ( C ) ' designation which can be found along with the manufacturer's details to the side of the body. Contained in it's original but now ' tired ' webbing container the periscope is in good, used condition with undamaged opticals. An uncommon example of an officer's trench equipment.
