WW2 MP43/Stg44 Handguard.

WW2 Handguard for the MP43 or Stg44. Deep formed, ' U ' shaped sheet metal guard which snapped in place over the gas cylinder of either weapon. Originally blued, this finish is only retained to the interior and the recesses of the exterior. Three letter coded ' aqr ' indicating production by the sub contractor Lux, R.u.O. Metallwaren und Maschinenfabrik A.G. Uncommon.
