A classic example of a WW2 Japanese Senninbari with the symbolic ' 1000 stitches ' taking the form of a rising sun, the Japanese Imperial flag, in a central panel of the cotton belt. Belt has horizontal lines of stitching reinforcing, and giving the belt an attractive, quilted appearance. A good example of a WW2 German K98 Bayonet & Frog. This bayonet has maker mark ' 44 fnj ' to ricasso for the firm Alex Coppel in 1944 & the serial number ' 6459 k '.
