WW2 US M21A1 Signal, Ground, Parachute.
1945 dated US M21A1 Signal, Ground, Parachute. Fired from the M1-M8 series of spigot launchers the signal with an additional propelling charge taking it to a height of approx. 200m where the signal, in this case an amber star, indicated by the raised letters ' AP ' in yellow to the cap. This example in good, clean condition.

An excellent example of a No.5 Bayonet Mk 1, second pattern designed for use with the No.5 Jungle Carbine. This pattern differs from the first pattern in having two bolts securing the grips as opposed to one. This example comes with a MkII scabbard.
