Size marked 56 and dated 1937 with now indistinct maker's trademark present to the interior in the diamond left by the missing celluloid protector. German WW1 Kugelhandgranate 1915Na.
A good example of a German Kugelhandgranate 1915Na. The Mdl.1915Na was a simplification of the earlier Model 1913 to better suit mass production. This particular example fitted with a zinc alloy Mdl.1915 friction igniter which produced an 8 second delay. In good condition with a manufacturer's mark to the base, replacement wire to fuze.
