Pre WW2 RAMC Officer's Cap.

Dress Cap for wear by an officer of the RAMC. Black, fine wool body with deep maroon band with a heavily toned gilt and silver officer's RAMC badge. Patent leather peak, showing usual distortion to finish with patent leather strap supported by RAMC buttons. Lined interior with calf band with immpressed manufacturer's details ' Kempster & Ramsey ' Liverpool. Plush forehead protector with most of the plush finish now absent. Good overall condition with two minor moth nips.
