Late War Japanese Forage Cap.

An unissued example of a late War Japanese forage cap. Of standard pattern but manufactured in natural, probably palm fibre with an applied khaki finish. Interior lined with a loose weave fibre with a man made headband and steel grommets to both sides and rear of the body. Applied circle to accommodate an Imperial Star to front with a stamped kanji to interior. Good, unissued condition with some wear to applied finish.
