Early production WWII Sten MKV manufactured by ROF - Royal Ordnance Factory Theale/Fazakerley stamped ' M78 '. Pre-December 1944 production. The MKV was first introduced in early 1944, and is essentially a better quality version of the MK2, using the same magazine port and body, magazine and similar bolt assembly. New additions were, wooden stock, pistol grip, No4 foresight and a wooden vertical fore grip with a bayonet attachment.
2019 Deactivation with accompanying Birmingham proof house certificate with moving bolt, trigger, and safety, partially strippable. Complete with fore grip and 1944 dated sling. Excellent example.
