Award certificate indicating the award of an EKI to Obgf.Helmut Scholz of 2/Gren.Rgt.266 on 25th June 1944. Gren.Regt.266 were based in Brittany and were largely destroyed by Allied forces, including the 4th U.S. Armored Division, during the battles around Saint-Malo in July 1944. Good condition, has been folded. read more

WW1 R.N.A.S. Sea Scout Zero Airship Grouping.
An ephemera grouping to 218935 A.M.2 Victor Dodd OBE, MiD a wireless operator in the R.N.A.S. coastal patrol service using Sea Scout Zero Airships. Operating from Polegate under the Portsmouth Command Dodd was involved in numerous patrols and survived the collision and destruction of S.S.Z.7 and S.S.Z10. WW2 WAAF Cap.
An ' as found ' example of a wartime o/r's WAAF Cap. Size 6 5/8 and dated 1944 with internal label which also has the owner's name inked in. Described as ' as found ' the cap is dusty and grubby with some areas of moth damage. WW2 German ZZ42 Igniters.
One of several standard igniters produced by the German forces, the ZZ42 was primarily designed for use with the Schu mine but was adapted for use in booby traps and other munitions. Phenolic body with manufacture marked and 1943 dated central spindle. Complete with removable transit cover.

The subject of the poster is a judicious warning about spent ammunition and the value to the enemy as displayed by a popular caricature of the evil Marxist Russian.
