1942 M31 Rucksack for Mountain Troops.

Uncommon example of an original ' Rucksack 31 fur Hochgebirgstruppen '. Olive green canvas construction with leather edging, straps and reinforcements with cotton inner pocket. Original cord drawstring with painted steel fittings. Clearly dated 1942 with manufacturer's details of ' Jakob Muller, Kirk/Nahe '. Also has owner's details and Feldpost details inscribed to leather strap reinforcement. Excellent example.
