German Officers calender desk set, artillery shells!!!

A great addition to your own desk, this is a calender set, all in German of course, probably from a WW2 officers deskset. Consisting of two solid brass shells mounted either side of the dates, months holder. All affixed to a cream marble base. I actually have never had one of these before!! All the little cardboard inserts are complete, month-day-date.
