Silver cigarette case with a ' jewel ' release catch with second Kokoshnik silver marks from Moscow to the gilt interior. 1942 dated 2Pdr VII Anti-tank AP/T round for Mks IX and X guns, those used by early war British tanks and AT guns. Projectile retains approx. 80% of its original painted finish with profuse manufacturer and inspection marks. Projectile contained in a 1943 dated brass case marked ' 2PR No2 I '. Case with one small case mouth crack, otherwise in good overall condition.

Original postcard of Ritterkreuztrager Hptm.Neitzel of Gren.Rgt.409. Walter Neitzel died on 2 September 1944 in Kaikasi, Latvia. He was posthumously promoted to Oberstleutnant and on 5 September 1944 was awarded the Oak Leaves to his Knight's Cross. Good, clean condition with pencil annotation to reverse. read more
